CANADIAN AG TRADESHOWS 2019

Our Presence

Acceleron® attends tradeshows across Canada every year – from the Crop Production Show in Saskatoon, SK; to Canada’s Outdoor Farm Show (COFS) in Woodstock, ON; and finally to Agri-Trade in Red Deer, AB.

By meeting and talking to Canadian growers like you, we get the opportunity to share our agronomic research and advice, while showing you in-person how our products can make a difference in your crops’ performance.

We prepare months in advance for outdoor Tradeshows, where we display our pre-inoculated crops in test plots for you to observe first–hand. We also feature our fascinating Root Display, where you can see JumpStart®, QuickRoots® and TagTeam LCO® in action.

OTTAWA VALLEY FARM SHOW

Ottawa, ON March 12 - March 14, 2019

The Ottawa Valley Farm Show (OVFS), run by farmers for farmers, has been running for over 90 years with the first show taking place in 1927. The main purpose in those early days was to assist farmers in producing, grading, selling and distributing high class and registered seed. Ontario's longest running agricultural trade show now boasts over 350 exhibitors and 11,000+ visitors during the 3 day event and although it's main purpose is unchanged, it now has expanded to offer a wide range of products and exhibitors to its visitors. These exhibitors include seed companies, machinery, livestock, farming equipment, financial institutions, and seed products (including biologicals).

In addition to the exhibitors and presentations the events third day will host the Prestigious Pedigreed Seed Sale.

Acceleron will attend OVFS as an exhibitor, bringing information to Canadian farmers on plant nutrition, biological inoculants and microbial technology. Our portfolio also includes seed applied solutions for corn and soybean crops. Visit our booth to talk with our helpful representatives and learn about our biological products and seed applied solutions.

Our Acceleron BioAg team will be in Hall 3 - Booth 3031!

Ag in Motion

Ag in Motion is Western Canada's first outdoor farm expo. The event takes place over 3 days in July just north of Saskatoon, SK. The annual farm expo features field demos, interactive agribusiness exhibits and live demonstrations of field equipment. There are also crop plots that demonstrate the potential benefits of biologicals, crop protection and seed products.

With Ag in Motion spanning over 600 acres of property there is ample room for the more than 300 acres of crop plots to be grown and displayed for visitors. This includes 15 acres of small plots from over 30 companies, including Acceleron, within the farm expo grounds. The crop plots begin well before the first day of Ag in Motion, with companies seeding in spring and tending to their crops throughout the summer to ensure their plots are ready for the show.

As an Exhibitor, Acceleron uses crop plots to demonstrate first-hand the benefits of our biological products to Western Canadian farmers. In 2018, we inoculated canola, soybeans, peas, and lentils with our products. Besides the crop plots, our Sales Reps are on-hand to share their knowledge of biologicals and how our products can help your crop reach its full yield potential.

Canada’s Outdoor Farm Show

Canada’s Outdoor Farm Show (COFS) is a three-day event held in Woodstock Ontario, that has been running for 25 years. Held in late summer (September) Canada’s biggest outdoor agricultural trade show provides a unique experience for Eastern Canadian farmers that is tailored around new technologies and innovation in agriculture. The show features crop plots, field demonstrations, and livestock demonstrations with 750 exhibitors displaying their services and products.

Acceleron demonstrates our biological and seed applied solution products on both soybean and corn in their crop plots. The products in the 2018 plots included Optimize ST for soybeans and QuickRoots, and Acceleron B300 SAT & Acceleron B-360 ST for corn. Besides the crop plots, we also have our root display to show the root-advantage our products will give your crops.
